Hello, I’m Dr. Toyin Alli and this is my story
I received a PhD in Mathematics in 2016. And since then, I’ve been a full time Lecturer at the University of Georgia while running my business (The Academic Society) at the same time. I’m obsessed with making sure that my students have the best experiences in my classes and their student evaluations reflect that.
I help professors transform their classes from boring lectures and misaligned activities to active learning experiences.
A few fun facts about me
01
Teaching is my Passion
I love my job as a Senior Lecturer at my school. Teaching mathematics is the part of my life that fulfills me the most.
INFJ emphasis on the I
Friday nights are Toyin nights. I need the time to myself to decompress and recharge from a full week of teaching and socializing.

Enneagram Five
I’ve never resonated with anything more than being an enneagram five. I need to know ALL OF THE INFORMATION and need to be able to share it when asked!
04
Healthy Boundaries are non-negotiable
Having strong boundaries is my super power. I know who I am and what I need and I’ve built my life around that self-awareness.
